Victor Okoh Boniface mostly known as Victor Boniface is a Nigerian professional footballer, he was born on the 23rd of December, 2000. He plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Nigeria national team.
Family Origin
Victor Boniface is a native of Akure, which is located in Ondo state, Nigeria. He resided with his grandparents, his grandfather was a distinguished veteran of the Nigerian Army. Victor Boniface’s mother steadfastly stood by his side, unwavering in her support regardless of the circumstances, unlike his father. He didn’t really have a privileged to experience proper upbringing, given the lack of affluence in his family home. He spent his childhood in a military barracks with his grandparents.

Career
4th March 2019, Boniface signed for Bodo/Glimt from Real Sapphire. Two weeks after signing for Glimt, he suffered a ligament injury which was said to be likely to keep him on the sidelines throughout 2019 season. Due to injury, Victor Boniface couldn’t play the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations which he selected to the Nigeria U-20 squad. In September 2019, he nonetheless win the league debut for the club.
8th August 2022, Victor Boniface signed a four-year contract with Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium. He scored six goals in the competition as well as a brace against Union Berlin in the round of 16. These made him the joint top goal scorer alongside with Marcus Rashford of Machester United. Union Saint-Gilloise reached the quarter-finals of the 2022-23.
